We are looking for a Payroll Senior Analyst to the Citi Shared Services Payroll Team, which is based in Budapest and is responsible for managing 44 countries’ payroll processes across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day payroll operations for a set of assigned countries
  • Analyze and interpret data and make recommendations
  • Review and keep the documentation of internal procedures and business requirements up-to-date
  • Ensure proper implementation of global payroll controls and standards
  • Serve as subject matter expert for payroll processes within the team
  • Interact with key stakeholders and internal/external partners effectively
  • Manage and report control issues with transparency

Ideal background:

  • 5+ years of experience in a related role
  • Bachelor’s/University degree
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • German payroll knowledge is an advantage
