Job Description Summary

• The Business Application Manager, Title and Escrow Solutions is an experienced, self-motivated individual that possesses expert project/people management skills and attention to detail. This position will work with our Title and Escrow business teams to develop & implement enhancements, or additions to technology services relied upon to run our Title and Escrow Solutions.

In this role, you will plan and manage strategic, transformational projects of high complexity from initiation through closeout across our Title and Escrow Solutions team. You will ensure that business outcomes of projects are accomplished within schedule, scope and budget parameters by leading cross-functional project teams and managing global project teams including third party vendors.

  • Evaluate, along with business leadership, proposed business process changes for impact to overall technology systems related to the Title and Escrow solutions.
  • On-board and manage vendors as necessary to deliver technological solutions for assigned Title and Escrow Solutions.
  • Manage team responsible for developing functional and technical requirements, documenting test cases, and coordinating business validation for production changes.
  • Manage communication and reporting of project activities across stakeholder groups and tracking tools
  • Identify and manage dependencies with other projects, enhancements, and production support activities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies, tools and best practices
  • You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:

  • Work experience in title and / or escrow field preferred. IT experience managing SoftPro desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management or business analysis, or an equivalent amount of experience may be substituted.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven customer partnering and relationship building with business units
  • Must be comfortable directing others in a team environment, as well as independently, and possess a strong sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments
  • Proactive, analytical, and process driven, with a strong focus on understanding and exceeding the expectations of the customer
  • Experience utilizing project management tools such as Kanban, JIRA, Microsoft Project, etc.
  • Experience managing on-site, offshore and remote team members, while quickly adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced understanding and experience in of a variety of project life cycle methodologies including waterfall, Agile and/or hybrid
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to set and manage expectations
  • Proven ability to organize and control project governance including outlining the roles and relationships between all groups involved in the project

FLSA Status: Exempt

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
