Job Description:
Head of Operational Delivery
Location: Bristol, onsite
Salary: Up to £75,000 DOE
Would you like to work with cutting edge premium care SaaS product delivering digital transformation to some of the world’s leading brands?
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Product Operations Manager to own the ongoing delivery pipeline across IT development sprints, content strategy, and weekly content delivery.
The Product Operations Manager will optimise processes, plan delivery resource across multiple teams and the foster a culture of continuous improvement.
With a focus on data-driven decision-making and release governance, the Product Operations Manager will empower teams to deliver high-quality outputs on time. This is a pivotal leadership role that combines tactical execution with strategic foresight to drive efficiency, collaboration, and innovation. A strong understanding of continuous improvement is essential.
You will manage and mentor a team based in both our UK and Chennai offices.
Key areas:
Ownership – Own and drive the internal delivery processes, releases and workflow platform (Jira)
Alignment — make sure the product team communicates and collaborates smoothly with other cross-functional groups.
Culture — promote product development best practices and champion a strong customer-led culture in the organization.
Improvement — establish and iterate upon methods for gathering internal feedback for improving the product development process.
Progress — set standards and metrics to track the product team's progress against company and product goals.
Velocity — empower the product team to build and deliver the right release deliverables to customers faster and at quality.
Workflow & Process Management:
Identify, create, and optimize operational workflows to enhance efficiency across IT development, content creation, and delivery.
Establish standardized processes to ensure clear communication, alignment, and handoffs between teams (IT, Content, and Delivery).
Oversee triaging of new workload tickets, managing priorities and allocation across teams using JIRA or similar tools.
Implement best practices for agile and kanban methodologies.
Act as a central hub for maintaining and improving tools and processes for cross-functional collaboration.
Release Management
Oversee the planning and execution of product and content releases, ensuring high-quality outputs and smooth delivery.
Create and maintain a unified release calendar to align product launches with operational and business priorities.
Implement robust release governance, collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring timely releases.
Strategic Alignment:
Partner with stakeholders across business functions to align operational plans with company objectives.
Facilitate resource planning and forecast demand to meet current and future delivery needs.
Own the development roadmap for operational improvements.
Act as the operational glue, ensuring all teams are aligned and driving toward shared goals.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Leverage analytics and reporting to monitor team performance, resource utilization, and delivery timelines.
Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure workflow efficiency and team productivity.
Use data to make informed recommendations for process improvements and identify areas for optimization.
Develop and maintain dashboards for operational metrics, such as velocity, capacity, and delivery cadence.
Use data insights to proactively identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and manage a diverse team across UK and our Centre of Excellence in Chennai.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, empowering teams to streamline delivery processes and enhance outcomes.
Ensure cross-team alignment through clear communication, robust planning, and process standardization.
Knowledge Management & Communication
Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, ensuring on-time and high-quality outputs.
Ensure operational documentation is current and accessible, including workflows, release notes, and best practices.
Act as a central hub for organizational knowledge sharing, enabling streamlined onboarding and consistent communication.
Develop frameworks for capturing feedback from stakeholders and translating it into actionable improvements.

Requirements
Extensive experience in operational management or product operations, ideally within a technology, content, or digital delivery environment, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
Knowledge of planning, coordinating, and executing releases, with a strong focus on risk and quality.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, workflow management, and the JIRA platform.
Proven ability to implement and refine processes that drive organizational efficiency.
Expertise in analysing and leveraging data to inform strategic and tactical decisions.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration.
