As a Data Insights Analyst, you are responsible for building data models, crafting intuitive visuals, and providing analysis that helps Blue Origin build a road to the Moon. Within the Lunar Production Operations organization, we build relationships with many stakeholders from program budget owners to technical design teams across the design, build, and operate lifecycle. Our team accelerates production operations and strengthens the value of analytics in modern aerospace.

  • Passionate about untangling business process inputs and outputs

  • Excellent at building rapport and communicating regularly

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with program and operations stakeholders to provide data and metrics

  • Craft dashboards and data reports using Excel, SQL, and/or Tableau

  • Perform data analysis on operations metrics

  • Communicate and educate on available datasets and reports

  • Help program stakeholders prepare for metrics reviews

  • Write SQL queries that satisfy data reporting needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working with VBA, SQL, Python, and/or Databricks

  • Passion For Our Mission: Millions of people living and working in space!

  • Ability to perform advanced Excel operations (e.g. advanced formulas, pivot tables, data visualizations, data analysis, macros, what-if analysis, PowerQuery

  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Office 365

  • Experience working with customers to gather requirements and present data

  • Experience navigating complex and hierarchical data structures

  • Familiar with project / program management (e.g. PMBOK, Agile, EVM)

  • Domain knowledge in engineering, supply chain, and/or manufacturing
