Job Description

We are seeking talents for our Consumer Health business for the position of:

Brand Manager

Management position

Start date: As soon as possible.

Location: Bogotá

Work schedule: full-time position.

Qualifications: At least 3 to 6 years’ experience in Pharma Companies managing Over the counter (OTC) and / or prescription (RX) portfolio.

You will have brand and business responsibility for your category from Day 1 and be responsible for maintaining and building the strength of the brand equity in consumers' minds through advertising, media, and trial-driving programs. You will work in a diverse team and in close collaboration with agencies to deliver effective brand building plans in the local markets. You will work in an international atmosphere, with team members located across Latin America.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and supervise marketing strategies and programs, in order to achieve sales and profitability objectives established by the organization.

  • Analyze the market (advertising, promotion, prices, etc.) of the brands and categories assigned, to stay in sync with the annual objectives established in the marketing plan.

  • Evaluate and / or supervise the performance of assigned brands (products, prices, offers), as well as its main competitors, in order to develop strategies to gain market from them.

  • Create, develop and implement promotion and advertising strategies that build brand image.

  • Develop and design product packaging of the assigned brands, based on market, category, and consumer requirements.

  • Design media plans that optimize investment based on the target group.

  • Control and analyze, together with controlling and finance, production costs in order to ensure product profitability.

  • Coordinate together with the different functional areas (Regulatory Affairs, Medical, Legal and Operations) the innovation strategy for the brands assigned in order to achieve the objectives established.

Job Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of marketing experience, managing Over the counter (OTC) and prescription (RX) products.

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related.

  • Experience in agency management.

  • Ability to analyze and recognize patterns from internal and external data and to see opportunities.

  • Knowledge of pharma terms & vocabulary.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package, Internal & External Analysis tools such as IQVIA, Close up, Nielsen, etc.

  • Team orientation, “can-do “attitude and ability to deliver breakthrough results.

  • Operate with technical excellence while collaborating optimal with others.

  • Strong leadership, innovation and interpersonal collaboration skills.

  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
