Act as the primary point of contact for the Tech Academy, providing guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders on all Tech Talent operational needs, including room reservations and special events.
Owns end to end Tech Academy communications and engagement strategy, aligning outcomes directly to our brand’s mission and vision.
Owns end to end the Tech Academy brand and plays an essential role in building key partnerships across the larger WNY ecosystem, fostering a sense of innovation and community within the Tech Academy space.
Works collaboratively with the Engagement and Strategy teams across Strategic Operations on shared engagement initiatives, creating one cohesive voice across the organization.
Acts as the voice of the customer with focus on process, improving efficiency, operational excellence, and customer experience.
Partners closely with the Seneca One Activations team and
Corporate Events teams on key initiatives to ensure a cohesive, consistent, streamlined experience across all three tech hubs, two in Buffalo, NY and on in Wilmington, DE.
Supports the management, maintenance, and administration of Tech Academy processes and systems as it pertains to floor and technology management operations.
Coordinates operations and logistical support for the Tech Academy operational areas
Provides administration and data reporting for all assigned activities, including room bookings, usage, and requests of the Tech Academy.
Cross-trains others in assigned critical functions and be cross trained in other critical administrative functions to be able to function as back up.
Owns a departmental supplies/inventory, including supporting the direct inventory needs of the training and programmatic teams within the Tech Talent org.
Understands and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promotes an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Associates’ degree and 2 years’ relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum 4 years’ higher education and work experience.
Excellent knowledge of personal computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Bachelor’s degree
Two years’ experience in general administrative/office as well as site and program support
Strong customer service and team collaboration skills
Demonstrated communication skills
Ability to follow established procedures and recommend streamlined processes.
Ability to interact with all levels of personnel
Knowledge of collaboration software (ie Miro, Microsoft Teams)
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $20.94 - $34.91 Hourly (USD).
