Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Manager (Level M) to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama.

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager to lead the Patriot Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) Seeker program through a critical production ramp-up, increasing seeker output by ~ 4X annually over the next three years.

This role demands a visionary leader with deep expertise in operations, supply chain management, and program execution across multiple contracts including production, sustainment, development, and test equipment redesign. The successful candidate will excel at navigating complex, competing program priorities while driving cross-functional collaboration and delivering results on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads the integrated planning, execution, and delivery of the PAC-3 Seeker ramp effort across multiple contracts and functional areas
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive program and project plans, schedules, and performance metrics; conducts detailed trend, variance, and risk analyses to proactively identify and mitigate issues
  • Drives operational excellence by optimizing manufacturing processes, supply chain logistics, and resource allocation to support increased production rates
  • Balances and prioritizes competing program demands, aligning resources and stakeholder expectations to ensure mission success
  • Provides technical and strategic oversight of program execution, ensuring compliance with Boeing standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines

Key Competencies:

  • Operations Management: Proven experience interfacing with complex manufacturing operations, including production ramp-ups, process optimization, and quality assurance in aerospace or defense environments
  • Supply Chain Expertise: Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, supplier management, risk mitigation, and logistics to ensure uninterrupted material flow and cost-effective production
  • Program Execution: Demonstrated success managing large-scale, multi-contract programs with competing priorities, delivering on time and within budget
  • Change Leadership: Skilled in leading organizational change, overcoming resistance, and embedding new processes and technologies at scale
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to influence and align diverse teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and test to achieve common goals
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments, balancing customer expectations, internal priorities, and external constraints
  • Strategic Planning: Strong capability to develop and execute long-range plans that align with business objectives and market demands
  • Risk Management: Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating program risks to maintain schedule and cost performance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 10 years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
  • More than 10 years of experience managing or leading people or teams
  • More than 5 years of experience working directly with executives or senior leaders
  • More than 5 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • More than 5 years of experience in program or project management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $178,500 - $241,500
