Job Summary:

The Agile Program Manager will play a vital role in coordinating with cross-functional teams, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This individual will act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. The primary responsibility of the Agile Project Manager is to manage the planning and execution of project workstreams, oversee project team members, and interact with various application/business resources. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for managing the project charter, communications, metrics, reporting, and overall project plan. Using IT knowledge and business acumen, the Agile Project Manager will guide cross-functional teams in the successful execution of projects. We are looking for someone who is not only experienced in Agile methodologies but also has a strong track record of delivering successful projects. What the candidate will do:

  • Overseeing project processes and procedures; monitoring the productivity and performance of the project team.
  • Managing all aspects of projects. Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing the progress of the project.
  • Reviewing and ensuring adherence to project materials, deliverables methodologies and procedures.
  • Preparing and presenting program-level reporting for upper management.

Education requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced English-speaking, listening, presentation level.

Managing Multiple Priorities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities/projects.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work well with a geographically distributed team.

Relationship Management

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team management abilities.

Project Management

  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Azure, Microsoft Project).
  • Intermediate experience with Agile planning and estimation techniques.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget

Requirements Analysis

  • Knowledge/understanding of Application/software development life cycle (SDLC), ITSM/ITIL processes.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure, Security, and Cloud technologies.

The best candidate will have:

  • Experience in coaching teams in Agile best practices.
  • Familiarity with change management principles.
  • Knowledge of software engineering and development practices.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certifications preferred.

 Additional Information:

  • This position is located in Santa Catarina.
  • Traveling up to 10% internationally (VISA required)
  • Domestic relocation is not available.
