What You Will Contribute:
 

Badger Meter is hiring a Talent Coordinator to join our Human Resources team at our Global Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI!

The Talent Coordinator role is dedicated to assisting our talent acquisition and talent development teams.   The ideal candidate will be well-organized and comfortable dealing with various tasks, systems and processes in a fast-paced environment. 

Job Duties:

  • Assists in the recruitment process, coordinating and communicating with candidates, and facilitating new employee onboarding; may assist with screening candidates during times of high volume.

  • Responsible for the full scope of pre-employment processes and new hire activities.

  • Plans and coordinates programs and events, anticipating needs to ensure they are well executed and run smoothly, e.g., multi-faceted learning programs or campaigns, and job fair event schedules that extend several months.   

  • Maintains talent development projects and events calendar, including deliverables and activities.

  • Assists the talent development team with Learning Management System (LMS) administration through tasks such as uploading and testing course content, assigning training to learners, tracking progress, and ensuring accurate training records are maintained. Serves as point of contact for learner support.   

  • Completes the purchase order and invoice payment process for all recruiting, talent development, and service award program activities; maintains tracking details to budget.

  • Assists with special projects and company sponsored events, including representing Badger Meter at local job/career fairs and workforce development events.

  • Provides additional administrative support, as necessary. 

  • Local travel required up to 10% of time.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's Degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in administrative and/or program coordination support role desired

Qualifications:

  • Experience using technology and tools to efficiently manage multiple tasks, programs and other requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Track record of identifying and implementing improvements to drive process efficiency, scalability and innovation within scope of work.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Project management experience desired.
