The Business Operations Lead is responsible for supporting operations for the newly formed Centralized Technology Organization (CTO). This role will work in support of the Head of Technology Portfolio Management and leaders across the CTO as needed.

What You’ll Do
The Business Operations Lead in the CTO's organization plays a crucial role in driving operational efficiency, employee engagement, and strategic initiatives. By effectively managing employee communications, onboarding, training, and engagement initiatives, this role ensures a positive employee experience and contributes to the overall success of the organization. Additionally, by identifying opportunities to enhance workflow efficiencies and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Business Operations Lead enables the CTO organization to operate more effectively and deliver on strategic objectives. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's operations and contribute to its long-term success.
 

  • Lead development of CTO employee communications, such as Town Halls, Lunch & Learns, and preparation for office hours, in partnership with Internal Communications, HR, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain the standard onboarding plan for all new CTO employees. Collaborate with CTO leaders and subject matter experts to review the effectiveness of onboarding, as well as upskilling / training programs, establishing position-specific training that complements standard onboarding and solicit information to identify future training needs.
  • Manage Employee Opinion Survey & Engagement initiatives in partnership with the CTO Leadership Team.
  • Partner with CTO leaders to identify opportunities to increase workflow efficiencies through enhanced tools, systems and/or processes.
  • Create and refine reporting for leadership needs, e.g. monthly Operating Reviews, project updates, etc.
  • Partner with CTO leadership to effectively communicate scope and progress of strategic initiatives.
  • Work with leadership to organize agenda and facilitation of strategic and departmental meetings, including driving accountability for the completion of action items that derive therefrom.
  • Manage and maintain the CTO channels / sites.
  • Establish and communicate clear plans to effectively achieve expected results.
  • Build and develop executive sponsor relationships; understand job responsibilities of other teams across the organization and effectively manages to those roles.
  • Ability to shift between the “big picture” and initiative level details. Can work through detailed issues when required.
  • Collaborate with other Business Operations leaders across the organization to develop consistency and best practices.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated 6+ years of strong business or project management experience
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Able to understand the business and link work to the overall business strategy
  • A natural collaborator who brings disparate stakeholders together to make things happen and maintains a strong executive presence
  • Proficient at analyzing and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Strong problem solver who can handle interrelated projects
  • Impeccable attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables
  • Experience drafting formal reports for internal and external distribution
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$79,400 - $132,300
