SUMMARY:
The Director of Clinical Training and Development is responsible for developing and managing all aspects of training for new hires during the implementation of new joint ventures. This includes but is not limited to developing and maintaining up to date training materials, managing clinical training team members, and developing a process for monitoring effectiveness of training for newly implemented agencies. This position collaborates with corporate new hire training and education team, manages a team of up to 10 direct reports, collaborates with the implementation team to deliver successful staff transitions and reports to the Vice President of Implementations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for building and managing clinical training team, providing leadership support for successful implementations either in-person or remotely for clinical field and internal support staff.
Oversight of planning and implementation of orientation for both field and internal support staff during implementations.
Developments and keeps all clinical training up to date
Develops and directs effective scalable training solutions for newly acquired home health and hospice agencies
Develops standardized KPIs to track proficiency of newly onboarded agencies to ensure successful implementation of EMR into new agencies.
Communicates with agency and company leadership on updates, outcomes and competencies during new hire process.
Identifies gaps and recommendations for various training needs, systems, and process improvements, creates plans to mitigate and executes plans for continuous improvement.
Identifies and escalates risks during the onboarding and training process for new hires
Participates in meetings and educational programs as required.
Organizes and allocates clinical training team resources to carry out activities necessary to achieve company and market objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a minimum of 5 years home care experience
Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
Technical expertise / operational knowledge of HCHB software.
Competent with technology including, but not limited to Microsoft Office, Smart Sheet, HCHB, Healthstreams.
Strong group facilitation and process improvement skills preferred.
Experience with training and teaching with knowledge of adult learning principles required.
Detail orientated with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to prioritize effectively and efficiently.
Demonstrates strong operational leadership ability, ability to prioritize tasks and be timely and work efficiently
Detail oriented with ability to oversee multiple responsibilities and ability to prioritize responsibilities
Travel up to 50% of the time
EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS:
Requires master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with equivalent work experience
Clinical licensure is preferred but not required
