The Engineering Technician will support the Project Engineering team in development of new processes, building samples, debug new processes, launch new processes / products to production. Technician will work closely with PMT, Design, Project and quality team.

The Engineering Technician will support the Project Engineering team in development of new processes, building samples, debug new processes, launch new processes / products to production. Technician will work closely with PMT, Design, Project and quality team.

  • Assist in new process development plus perform the process validation and documentation of engineering changes to existing products.
  • Perform engineering tests.
  • Run tests to validate that specifications, tooling and new equipment’s.
  • Be able to interpret data and make observations/recommendations from experimental results  
  • Acquire, analyze, and document data. 
  • Ensure all tests are completed accurately, on-time, and are clearly documented. 
  • Development testing & data analysis, validation testing, test fixturing (mechanical and electrical), procedure writing, test report writing, troubleshooting.
  • Ability to run cycle time studies identifying potential bottle necks for the product or process.  
  • Understanding of PFMEA (Process failure mod analysis) and CPK (process capability)
  • Work with engineers on program timing and development of testing requirements. 
  • Work with other technicians to achieve team goals.
  • The ability to perform device failure analysis if needed
  • Ability to read prints and machine fixtures, tooling, etc.
  • Support and oversee the build of prototype samples, including developing work instructions, guiding operators, collecting and evaluating in-process data.
  • Verify compliance of incoming prototype material prior to assembly builds
  • Perform studies to validate internal measurement systems
  • Must have working knowledge of basic statistics
