Role Overview

This position will be reporting to the Data Products Delivery lead within the Data Platform & Products (DPP) product line organization. This role is responsible for delivering reusable  data models  that power analytics, AI, and digital transformation across the Manufacturing Division. The successful candidate will drive the delivery of data products in line with the roadmap driven by data demands.

The candidate will work closely with data product teams, the data platform team, solution delivery, data architecture, and business partners to ensure that data products are delivered on time and aligned with business needs.

What will you do in this role

  • Ensure data products are delivered on time and in line with the agreed roadmap.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clear delivery tasks, priorities, and execution plans.
  • Work closely with analytics teams and value team partners to ensure data products meet expected timelines, requirements, and business outcomes.
  • Ensure technical decisions are made in a timely manner and align with established standards, architecture principles, and governance requirements.
  • Ensure that the data products are build and delivered in accordance within the GMP framework where needed.
  • Coordinate the work between developers , testers , compliance leads, quality and business owners.
  • Ensure technical and process-based roadblocks are resolved in a timely manner without impacting deployment.
  • Support the operations and maintenance of data products to ensure reliability, continuity, and performance.
  • Work with leaders to identify new capabilities needed to improve delivery effectiveness while ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Continuously improve the delivery framework to enhance execution efficiency, quality, and governance.
  • Help drive the use of AI in building data products and ensure that data products are designed and maintained to be AI-ready.

What should you have

   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience delivering data products (ETL and modelling)
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on data engineering and/or related experience across ELT/ETL pipelines, data enablement tools, coding languages, and cloud-based data lakes.
  • Experience with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain data is required.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Strong experience with data enablement patterns, including:
    • Streaming data
    • Near real-time ingestion (NRT)
    • Data virtualization
    • Batch ingestion (file sharing)
    • JDBC ingestion
    • API-based ingestion
  • Deep understanding of data modeling concepts at both conceptual and detailed levels.
  • Hands-on expertise with modern data tools and technologies, including DBT, Databricks, SQL, Trino, and S3.
  • Extensive experience with GitHub-based development workflows and Jira for work orchestration.
  • Strong background in data quality, lineage, metadata, and observability.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with change and release management processes.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a globally dispersed team.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation.
  • Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural, English speaking environment.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong subject matter and business domain knowledge across manufacturing operations, quality, and supply chain.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing sites and above-site functions with digital and analytics capabilities.
  • Experience delivering large-scale cloud data ecosystem implementations.
