Guy Carpenter is a brand of Marsh Philippines. Guy Carpenter is actively seeking qualified candidates for this role in Manila, through a new Guy Carpenter business division to be established within Marsh Philippines.

We will rely on you to:

• Review broker placements for accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Manage assigned facultative portfolio: account setup, process receipts, reconcile payments, and follow up as required.

• Reconcile premium accounts with clients and fiduciaries; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Process technical account transactions using internal systems; meet SLAs and regulatory requirements.

• Communicate professionally with brokers, clients and market contacts; escalate issues when needed.

• Maintain accurate records and support audits and internal controls.

• Contribute to process improvements and perform ad hoc tasks as requested

• Deliver accurate, timely technical accounting for facility accounts

What you need to have: 

• University degree or equivalent experience

• Proven Facultative technical accounts experience (1+ years for Junior, 5+ years for Senior)

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal

• Prior reinsurance industry experience, especially in Facultative Reinsurance, highly desirable

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Ability to work daytime hours aligned with Asia time zones (role covers Asia portfolio)
