Snowflake’s Sales Operations team is actively seeking a Sales Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on strategic projects to develop the data infrastructure and reporting that supports our Sales team. You will leverage your business acumen and analytical skill set while collaborating with cross functional teams including sales, alliances, finance, sales strategy/operations and IT. 

You will be part of a team charged with executing the quantitative analyses and management reporting needed to run day to day operations and provide Sales with the insights needed to meet our rapid growth objectives. You will collaborate cross functionally to define business metrics, build and maintain data and reporting and enable end users. You will drive consistency cross functionally by centralizing definitions across reporting layers. You will be an important part of the hands-on group delivering key insights and reporting to Sales.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:

  • Build and maintain reporting to define and measure contributions that align to key business objectives
  • Build strong strong understanding of data infrastructure, including input systems (SFDC) and Data Eng pipelines, to facilitate debugging user issues
  • Deliver sales analytics, dashboards, and reports to key stakeholders across Sales, Sales Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Professional Services, Alliances
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to understand unexpected metric movements and communicate results to other analysts, operations people, and company leadership
  • Drive the design, building, and launching of new dashboards and data pipelines in production
  • Support adoption of reporting through response to sales questions/tickets, supporting enablement activities, etc

ONE DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: 

  • Bachelor degree in business, statistics, economics or other quantitative disciplines
  • Masters degree in quantitative field or 5+ years experience in the large cap tech companies, top tier investment banking, Management Consulting 
  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise level reports using BI tools such as Streamlit, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other relevant technologies
  • Ability to communicate in an effective and efficient manner with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Advanced skills/knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, and Financial/Operational Modeling
  • Advanced skill working with SQL, relational database, dashboard tools
  • Knowledge of Cloud, SaaS business models and B2B channel structures a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred hands on experience with scripting languages, specifically Python
  • Experience with Git, code reviews, and coordination frameworks (e.g. Airflow)
