Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project schedule that outlines the sequence of activities, milestones, and critical paths required for the successful completion of the rail project.
  • Collaborate with project managers and relevant stakeholders to identify resource requirements for each activity in the project schedule, including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor the progress of activities and update the project schedule accordingly, using project management software or scheduling software as required.
  • Conduct schedule analysis to identify potential delays, critical path activities, and areas where the project schedule can be optimized.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to discuss progress, address concerns, and update stakeholders on any schedule changes or impacts.
  • Assess the impact of proposed changes, variations, or scope adjustments on the project schedule.
  • Generate regular reports on schedule performance, including progress reports, critical path analysis, and earned value analysis.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify potential schedule risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Capture lessons learned from previous phases and implement best practices to improve planning and scheduling processes.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Senior Management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in planning and scheduling for rail projects with specific experience in integrating and coordinating the planning activities for Railway Projects.
  • Experience in using project management software or scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
