Description -
Role Overview:
As the Global Finance Director for Service Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial leadership to the division. Your responsibilities will encompass managing a team of financial professionals located across the globe, overseeing month-end closing, budgeting, flash reporting, and collaborating closely with the Service Supply Chain leadership to optimize financial performance and drive operational efficiencies. Your role will also extend to ensuring compliance and robust financial controls within the division's operations.
Fully accountable for the success of the designated function or department. Influences strategy and sets policy and direction. Owns a significant number of measurable functional, operational and strategic goals or priorities. Assumes responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans in a defined area of responsibility. Contributes to the overall strategic definition of a function with strong business acumen. Acts as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a geographically dispersed team of financial professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and facilitate skill development within the team.
2. Financial Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with Service Supply Chain leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Drive the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate financial projections and resource allocation.
3. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
Oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare flash reports to provide early insights into financial performance, enabling informed decision-making.
4. Operational Efficiency and Optimization:
Partner closely with Service Supply Chain teams to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies that contribute to meeting financial commitments. Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing profitability and driving cost optimization.
5. Compliance and Financial Controls:
Establish and maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards. Lead internal and external audits related to the Service Supply Chain division.
6. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, HPWS Finance and CSSD to align financial strategies with broader business goals. Present financial insights and performance updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
