The Product Management team is responsible for the day-to-day management of existing products and services, setting and executing product strategy, and ensuring P&L outcomes. We play a significant role in the development of new products, product enhancements, and customer experience initiatives

Do work that matters:

As the Product Owner for Equities, you will lead and define the product vision, goals, and roadmap for our domestic equities offerings. You will ensure that our products are market competitive, align with CommSec’s value proposition, and operate within defined risk parameters.

Specifically, You Will:

• Develop and execute the product roadmap, providing analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Use your expertise to prioritise tasks, balance trade-offs, and explore strategies to achieve business outcomes.
• Address impediments, drive decisions, and resolve escalations
• Act as the voice of the business and the customer, translating these perspectives for the team.
• Monitor and enhance product revenues through customer acquisition, activation, retention, and pricing strategies.
• Oversee product costs, including vendor expenses and internal costs such as staff and IT.
• Contribute to the development of new products, product enhancements, customer experience initiatives, and business process improvements in collaboration with other teams.
• Monitor and manage product-related risks, working with Line 1 and Line 2 Risk teams.
• Maintain product collateral and webpages.
• Lead the Squad’s daily operations and ensure a well-prioritised backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.
• Manage business and technical stakeholders to ensure prioritisation is understood and agreed upon.
• Track the Squad’s performance against defined objectives, including OKR tracking.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Is passionate about delivering customer value.
• Has demonstrated experience with equities products or stockbroking platforms.
• Has a wealth of experience in pricing and product management.
• Is commercially astute, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects and business initiatives.
• Can influence and negotiate outcomes effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Is a great team leader with experience aligning technical teams to business goals.
• Has excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong interpersonal abilities for managing diverse stakeholders.
