Your New Role…

You will work closely with Production Finance executives and support freelance production accounting teams to manage corporate deliverables, ensure compliance, and gain insight into the finance, budgeting and cost reporting of feature productions.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Collaborate with Production Finance executives on critical business functions, including cost report review, hedge management, bible and trial balance review, and support for freelance production accounting teams.

  • Create, analyse, and maintain various reports for senior management.

  • Set up accounting and payroll systems, maintain corporate structures, digital workflows, and ensure audit compliance.

  • Handle onboarding and offboarding for accounting crew access.

  • Manage pre-production and post-production payroll and cost reporting.

  • Maintain SAP bookings for all project stages and issue monthly direct cost invoices to productions.

  • Conduct research as needed (audits and SAP backup) and coordinate and review monthly VAT returns.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Experience in production accounting, the entertainment industry, and personnel management is advantageous; a degree in finance/accounting is highly desirable.

  • Candidates must excel in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and superb communication skills.

  • Ability to research, translate and comprehend information related to feature film contracts and unions, both internationally and domestically.

  • Organise, develop, compile, and disperse updated information in a timely manner.

  • Effective time management, multitasking, and the ability to communicate tactfully with management and all levels of personnel are crucial.

Department Overview…

WB Motion Pictures Production Finance is responsible for the support and management of feature films in the UK and throughout the world, from development through delivery. The department is responsible for the budgeting and cost analysis of each production.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
