The Spine Senior Territory Manager will be responsible to deliver competitive market share gains within an assigned region through the sale and promotion of our market leading Spine, Biologics & Interventional portfolio, as well as ensuring existing accounts are managed effectively through supporting procedures, managing inventory and upselling. They will need to build and develop strong relationships with all relevant external stakeholders as well as working collaboratively with the district’s Technical Consultants, Cranial Spine Strategic Account Managers, Marketing, Operations and other Sales individuals both within Cranial Spine Therapies (CST) and across Medtronic. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This is a field based role in the North East of the UK.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and execute the territories account strategy and tactics, implement quarterly sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives
- Effectively manage the territory's inventory and work with Operations & Customer Care to ensure targets are met and delivered
- Identify selling opportunities and work closely across the Cranial Spine organisation to drive surgical synergy related to spine surgery.
- Provide clinical implant support to the theatre team across the spinal procedures
- Participate in and support regional events such as Congresses or Customer Events, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Management
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs and conventions as directed
- Lead a project within the CST business across the UK
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
- Proven Sales experience in a medically related environment
- Ability to work in an operating room setting
- Ability to effectively build relationships with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- A positive person with strong entrepreneurial skills who brings passion, energy and excellence in execution to his/her work
- A team player with a track record of working collaboratively, with excellent interpersonal skills
Previous Spine experience would be an advantage.
