Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated Project Management Specialist (Associate, Mid-Level or Senior) to join the Product Security Engineering team in Everett or Seattle, Washington!

This position manages multiple projects for developing processes, tools and technologies to mitigate cyber threats to develop and sustain Boeing's aircraft products and production systems. An ideal candidate has experience successfully applying traditional project management theories and concepts, an understanding of cybersecurity, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate across various functions to achieve project / organizational objectives.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Mid-Level or Senior Project Management Specialists.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

  • Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.

  • Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the case.

  • Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.

  • Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules.

  • Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement standard methodologies that support project decision makers.

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key partners requirements and project objectives.

  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to partners.

  • Develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry.

  • Conducts studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the case. Develops and establishes lead time requirements.

  • Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be standard methodologies across the industry.

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key partner's requirements and project objectives.

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

  • Coordinates commitments with internal and external partners to fulfill strategies. 

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 1+ years of experience in project management or project scheduling

  • 1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership

  • 1+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment and/or business unit teams

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Manager Professional (PgMP) Certification

  • 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity or software support environment

  • Agile-Scrum-SAFe Certification

  • 1+ years of experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera

  • 1+ years of functional experience in at least one other area such as aerospace, manufacturing or fabrication environment

Typical Education/Experience: 

Associate

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Associate Level: $73,950 – $100,050 

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $93,500 – $126,500 

Summary pay range for Senior Level: $115,600 – $156,400
