The role:  

As a Product Manager at TalkTalk, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and delivery of innovative consumer telecoms products and services within your category for our 2.5 million customers. You will be an expert in understanding customer needs, behaviours, and market trends, leveraging data and insights to shape product decisions. 

You will be explicitly responsible for ensuring value and viability of what the product team build and are accountable for driving the defined outcomes. You will be an expert in how our customers choose and use our products, but also have a deep understanding of the market, competitive landscape, and the relevant technology and industry trends.

The Team:  

You will work in an outcome focussed squad alongside a Product Designer, Product Tech lead, developers and testers to identify solutions and deliver outcomes. 

Role Expectations:  

  • Understand markets, competition, and customer need requirements in depth.  

  • Identify customer problems and delivering business and customer value. 

  • Develop solutions to problems by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as needed across product areas, and functions. 

  • Lead all product discovery work for your category 

  • Launch new products, capabilities and features, validate assumptions in market, test their performance, and iterate quickly.  

  • As well as working collaboratively with your squad you will need to do the same with other teams outside the squad like marketing, legal, UX and customer operations. 

 

Leadership and Impact

  • Strong knowledge of product strategy, and prioritisation techniques
