Project Role : Database Administrator
Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
Must have skills : MySQL Database Administration
Good to have skills : SAP HANA DB Administration, Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required

Infrastructure Management - Database Administrator Responsibilities • Extensive experience providing technical support for SAP HANA applications. • In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, data modeling, and administration. • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP HANA databases and applications. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering timely and effective solutions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients. • Provide technical support for SAP HANA applications, addressing and resolving issues reported by end-users. • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems. • Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP HANA databases, implementing best practices for efficiency. • Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for future reference. • Need to collaborate with vendors and external partners to escalate and resolve complex technical issues. • Should actively participate in the testing and validation of new SAP HANA releases and patches. • Should have hands-on the implementation and migration of SAP HANA applications, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.” The DBA role needs to have Application DBA or Operational DBA skills to quickly solve product performance issues. The product runs in AZURE on a HANA database. They will need to understand how HANA works as well as hyperscalers and have excellent troubleshooting skills as it relates to performance/data migration etc.
