Summary:

Directs the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.

Responsibilities:

Manages and evaluates department operations including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.Plans and monitors staffing activities including hiring, orienting, evaluating, performing disciplinary actions, and providing continuing education initiatives.Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.Oversees development and revision of metrics for Medical Staff and hospital performance.Works with executive and facility leadership to oversee and ensure quality initiatives and that performance aligns with organizational goals.

Experience with Tableau, Premier, Crimson, NPIC, NSQIP databases preferred. Required Work Experience: Five (5) years of leadership experience. Other Information: Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program or a Bachelor's degree in a job related field. If no Bachelor's degree in a related field, Florida state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
