JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Product Manager at one of the leading FinTech companies in the US. Our mission is to deliver trusted, best-in-class money management and payment solutions to our customers and partners, seamlessly connecting people to their money. You will be part of the TailFin Joint Venture, supporting the largest retail chain in the world, delivering a transformative and innovative product solution across retail, digital, and BaaS solutions.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the money movement and payments space, and a proven track record of ideating, defining, and implementing FinTech products.  We are seeking someone with wide understanding in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation for the Joint Venture.  

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the holistic solution design, development, and growth effort for money movement products and features for Green Dot Joint Venture

  • Work closely with senior management to formulate and execute the product roadmap to ensure revenue growth and cost/profit control. Promote use of new technologies and identify industry-leading trends.

  • Define project objectives for initial feature launch and ongoing evolution leveraging market and consumer research, reporting, customer feedback, etc.

  • Define business and technical requirements to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders, including working directly with Green Dot’s Joint Venture partner to define and document partner requirements into PRDs and other Product artifacts.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and manage product design, customer testing, and development activities for new money movement products.

  • Define and monitor product success metrics and key KPIs.

  • Act as subject matter expert for all requirements related to money movement services including user interface, APIs, business rules, risk and other controls.

  • Manage the delivery of continuous and effective services and ensure project completion is within budget and in accordance with contract requirements.

  • Triage product defects and ensure proper ownership and delegation toward resolution.

  • Manage compliance with all IT governance standards through approved tools, templates, policies, and procedures.

  • Performs other duties as needed.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in technology product management.

  • Experience with payments and money movement absolutely required including:

    • 3+ years working in Fintech or Banking industries.

    • Working knowledge of payments (ACH, OCT, AFT, RTP/FedNow, P2P, Ecommerce) with implementation and support experience highly desired.

    • Sales Engineering or similar experience selling money movement products.

  • Full stack product management (web, app, API) and experience with both B2C and B2B digital products highly desired.

  • Comfortable interacting with and presenting to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, vendors and business customers.

  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills to articulately express the goals and rationale behind product decisions.

  • Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity and change during a project.

  • Enthusiastic, organized, smart, engaging, driven and technically savvy.

  • Proven ability to inspire the team with a sense of purpose and urgency in attainment of goals.

  • Passion for innovation and delighting customers.

  • Experience in Agile practices including writing user stories.

  • Work effectively remotely and with remote teams using collaboration technology.

  • Ability to work in Pacific, Mountain or Central time zones preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, financial, technical or related field preferred.

PAY RANGE

The targeted base salary for this position is $98,400 to $150,300 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
