We’re looking for a Sr. Interface Designer to join our Product team at Snap Inc!
What You’ll Do
Design new and compelling ways to use Snapchat products across the many devices they use every day.
Own every aspect of the design process through ideation, definition, exploration, execution, and iteration.
Craft above and beyond solutions driving business impact while accounting for technical feasibility.
Identify Snapchatter needs on new platforms and define a roadmap for our product team.
Collaborate with designers across Snap giving and receiving feedback on design decisions.
Partner closely with user research to understand opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Contribute to key areas of our design systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
An expert communicator who can effectively communicate a design and vision through text, speech, and imagery
Ability to prototype interactive experiences.
Ability to think at a high level about product strategy.
Strong visual design skills and passion for interaction design.
A creative thinker who has lots of ideas and sees solutions when most would not.
Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous work environment.
Ability to plan data-driven design experiments and conduct A/B tests to discover the right UX iteratively.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability toward the products.
Minimum Qualifications
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of work experience.
5+ years of UX/product design experience for web or desktop applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Highly proficient in Figma, Principle, or similar tools
A strong portfolio showcasing your work
Expertise in Systems Design
Proven track record of shipping high quality products
A passion for Snap Inc. products
Technical background or familiarity with software engineering

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $152,000-$228,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
