In this role you will be responsible for the creation of motion design for digital screens instore, digital outdoor media, social media, and web. You will be a team player who collaborates closely with the motion team, digital designers and creatives to produce best in class content for JD which is impactful, engaging, dynamic and contemporary. You will be a self-starter, process driven, organised, proactive, and self-motivated.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Motion Graphics Designer, you'll be doing the following: 

  • Produce motion design for various platforms, sometimes to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining high quality across all outputs.
  • Collaborate cross-function to produce impactful motion whilst maintaining the integrity of the original design / artwork / creative supplied.
  • Deliver motion which elevates campaigns and mixed media content.
  • Design within JD brand guidelines and ensure all content is produced in a customer focused manner maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant industry technology / innovations and software releases, sharing knowledge with the team and pitching ideas to management to ensure approach, processes and techniques remain current and efficient.

What We're Looking For:

  • Fluent in Adobe After Effects. Strong knowledge of Adobe CC: Media Encoder, XD, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a part of squad, to conceptualise and deliver high-quality motion for various campaigns and mixed media projects across all channels.
  • Strong motion graphics design skills
