2020 Companies is now hiring a highly passionate, sales-driven Market Manager. We are seeking an experienced retail Market Manager to support our growing team of sales agents within big box retail locations. This full-time role is an ideal fit for an experienced sales manager candidate looking to take the next step in retail or provide cost-efficient solutions for consumers. Under the direction of the Sr. Director, you will manage a retail sales team across multiple major retailers within a territory. The Market Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within territory, clients and retailers, to understand and exceed client goals, and will effectively hire, train, coach and provide performance feedback for their employees.

Job Description:

  • Manage, motivate, direct and coordinate activities of team members to meet and/or exceed sales and project goals

  • Personally accountable for team members and all documentation pertaining to team productivity

  • Responsible to accurately track sales and team member performance

  • Successfully develop and build territory relationships through networking

  • Effectively provide daily direction, training, and guidance while ensuring retention of the team

  • Successfully determine staffing requirements in accordance with client and company directives

  • Ensure proper training of sales techniques, products, policies, etc.

  • Administer and document all counseling and terminations accurately and in a timely manner while following established procedures

  • Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities, as needed

  • Travel to locations regularly throughout the territory

  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures

  • Attend meetings and conference calls as required in and out of market as needed

Performance Measurements:

  • Ensure team meets established weekly/monthly projects/sales goals

  • Maintain proper staffing levels across assigned markets

  • Maintain compliance and quality assurance as directed by the client

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years retail and sales management experience required

  • Experience managing a lead generation program

  • Superior leadership abilities with effective, professional communication and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to show good judgment and initiative, make decisions and problem solve

  • Capable to work autonomously with excellent time management skills

  • Must be able to travel to various stores within the market and work flexible hours

  • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
