As a student assistant you will be part of the development and implementation of new technical solutions to optimize data driven supply chain processes. You will be a part of a journey towards the newest trends in data and IT driven operations. Welcome to Global Supply Chain Development

The Supply Chain Development department drives a broad portfolio of strategic supply chain initiatives to e.g. improve transportation and warehouse costs, CO2 footprint, capacity management, digitalization of warehouse logistics and tracking real time data. We ensure new innovations, data-driven solutions and change management to establish an efficient and reliable supply chain for the future.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Support the development and implementation of new IT-systems and processes to better Novonesis’ supply chain and warehouse logistics.

  • Support with technical assistance on projects like scanners and label systems to enable real-time data inputs and control on warehouse inventory management, warehouse processes and more.

  • Test systemic and digital solutions and gain insights on user-experience for improvements.

  • Support project planning and creating communication materials as well as facilitating meetings with relevant stakeholders.

  • Cross-organizational collaboration skills with resource support from other departments like IT, Operations, Planning and scheduling. 

The position is part-time with an expected weekly hour of 12-15 hours split on 2-3 days per week, with flexibility during exam periods .

To succeed you must:

  • Be enrolled in a relevant bachelor's or master's degree (Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Supply Chain Management or similar).

  • Have experience with SAP (preferably MM, SD and/or WM) and basic programming skills.

  • Have a curious and analytical mindset and good technical knowledge.

  • Have a good basis understanding of Supply Chain Management and related processes, and a drive for building and rolling out the best possible solutions.

  • Basic data literacy and experience with scientific experimentation, technical testing and documentation.

  • Be an excellent communicator and able to work together with people of various backgrounds and expertise.

  • Have a can-do attitude, initiative-taker approach, an appetite for being self-driven, a desire to learn and ability to adapt quickly to changes, an open mindset and a friendly and collaborative way of approaching stakeholders.
