Test & Assembly Technician

We are looking for a Test & Assembly Technician to join our Exlar team! As our Test & Assembly Technician, you will work in adherence with process instructions, drawings, test specifications, and delivery schedules to assemble, test, and repair product and customer returns. Work will be performed to the requirements of the quality management system and to achieve company and customer requirements.

Your Challenge

  • Assess warranty claims and analyze root cause of product failures, documenting test and inspection results for feedback to the customer.

  • Develop repair plans to satisfy customer and engineering requirements.

  • Utilize test procedures, specialized tooling, fixtures, measuring equipment, and hand tools to assemble and evaluate final products.

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Inspect sub-components and final product for compliance to requirements and release conforming product to subsequent operations. 

  • Provide training and support to assembly and machining teams. 

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • HS diploma or equivalent.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and develop effective working relationships.

  • Self-starter, highly motivated, action-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and results-driven.
