The Sr. Product Manager (PM), is the “CEO” of the products they support and is focused on the long and short-term product vision of a product line. The PM also represents users’ and partners’ interests and the product outside the team. As a PM for the IT Applications team, you would be responsible for applications and products developed to support our Professional Services teams. This job requires you to be a self-starter who can work under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously. You possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable products. You will be asked to supply ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team’s portfolio.

The successful will have strong analytical, communication, leadership, and technical skills in information technology, specifically hands-on experience in providing technology solutions to one or more of Professional Services areas.

Role Description:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

  • Challenge the status quo by identifying innovative ways to evolve IT Applications to meet our customers’ needs

  • Capture customer feedback and translate it into project/improvement requests

  • Work with Senior Executive partners to drive alignment and deliver dynamic capabilities.

  • Partner with IT collaborators at all levels to assess, initiate, prioritize, refine, and drive appropriate technology solutions.

  • Develop and maintain a multi-track product or program-level roadmap for the delivery area that synthesizes the needs of business customers over the long and short term.

  • Run a broad portfolio of technologies and delivery teams that work together efficiently to meet business needs.

  • Handle delivery expectations with customers, driving a multi-tier communication cadence with partners at the executive and operational levels.

  • Build and groom a backlog of well-formed stories for implementation by the scrum team(s) involved in delivery.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of related experience in Product Management

  • Accomplished people manager.

  • Experience working with Professional Services or a similar customer facing role.

  • Agile knowledge of frameworks like Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban

  • Understanding of the Certinia PSA product

  • Strong prioritization skills and the discipline to focus on high-impact activities

  • Experience defining and collecting product requirements and transforming them into a product roadmap

  • Deep curiosity about customer needs and a track record in building customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions

  • Drive solution development through big-picture solution development

  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects and tasks. Shown knowledge of project management concepts and techniques required

  • Ability to work with deadlines and in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent teammate able to lead and work with virtual and global cross-functional teams

  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills

  • Strong product management skills, including prioritization and ability to multi-task

  • Strong skills in communication, writing, and relationship-building cross-functionally

  • Organizational skills to run multiple projects successfully

  • Thrive in regularly evolving and changing landscapes

  • Understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) business model
