Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Associate Vetting Program Managers (AVPMs) are responsible for supporting the criminal screening program for internal and external candidates at Walmart Inc. AVPMs ensure a comprehensive approach to candidate vetting that ensures safety, compliance, and fair opportunities.

The work of AVPMs evaluating the history of individuals who have been previously incarcerated and determining their suitability for employment. This includes reviewing their criminal records, assessing their rehabilitation efforts, and considering the nature of their past offenses.

AVPMs are experts in their field, utilizing their professional judgment and expertise in compliance, risk mitigation, social services, reentry programs, and/or criminal justice to evaluate candidates. They interpret data and apply knowledge gained from experiences, training, case studies, academic studies, and peer partnerships to deliver assessments.

AVPMs stay updated on relevant laws and regulations concerning the employment of individuals with criminal backgrounds, understanding any legal limitations or requirements that may impact the hiring process.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Security, or related field and 1 year’s experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area.
