If you’re looking for the perfect part time position, this maybe it! You’ll be spending your working hours with the friendly, professional team at WSECU as the Lobby Security Specialist. You will be front and center in our Olympia corporate Building serving as the first point of contact for members, guests and coworkers using your strong people skills and warm personality to make a great first impression.

Your day may include:

  • Providing safety and security support to the headquarters building and branch locations
  • Effectively executing SafeCatch procedures to observe, acknowledge and report suspicious persons and/or activities
  • Preparing logs to support security protocols
  • Maintaining secure check in process for headquarters campus visitors
  • Monitoring cameras to ensure equipment is operating properly
  • Managing the checkout/in process for the keys to corporate fleet
  • Using strong people skills and warm personality to greet members, visitors and coworkers with a smile and eye contact
  • Following established procedures for documenting visitors and issuing visitor or building access control badges
  • Providing first point of contact for all reported safety & security concerns and tracks reported trends
  • Following established lobby opening & closing procedures
  • Directing deliveries to shipping and receiving
     

What you bring to the team:

  • High school graduate or equivalent, or greater
  • Experience working in a security environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Willing to be First Aid/CPR/AED trained
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to apply established guidelines and procedures
     

Competitive pay: $19.67 - $29.50 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package.

  • The target starting pay for this position is $19.67 - $24.59 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant’s pay history into account.
  • The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.

Where we’re located: 330 Union Ave SE Olympia, WA

When you’d work: Monday – Friday, 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm, 20 hours per week. Part-time employees work a minimum of 20 hours per week and may be scheduled up to 25 hours per week, occasionally working more hours requiring scheduling flexibility based on business needs
