POSITION SUMMARY:

The Enrollment Counselor has ongoing interactions with families and students, counseling and supporting them on their path to academic success. This role focuses on maximizing student enrollments, retaining existing students and ensuring parent satisfaction with our programs. Maintaining successful partner relationships with the schools we serve and executing effective enrollment drives are also imperative. The position is remote with required travel to partner schools and events.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Partner with school coordinators, Account and Regional Managers, HGS program managers, and marketing to plan and execute enrollment drives.
    • Manage course registration, counseling and enrollment processes.
    • Learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services.
    • Maintain accurate student and school data in CRM and LMS/SIS systems.
    • Communicate directly with parents and students through multiple channels (calls, email, video, messaging apps).
    • Monitor student progress, provide support, and address issues in collaboration with HGS Student Success teams.
    • Visit partner schools regularly to maintain relationships and ensure program satisfaction.
    • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions. 
    • Support students in course selection, program orientation, academic planning, and community engagement.
    • Hold one-on-one check-ins to review academic progress, community involvement, and postsecondary/career goals.
    • Counsel students exploring in-country work, in-country university or university pathways by connecting them with HGS resources and services.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an English-speaking university preferred
    • Bilingual fluency in English and the local language 
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to engage students, families, and colleagues.
    • Knowledge of in-country K–12 education systems and university opportunities.
    • Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Customer Relationship Management Systems (HubSpot), MS 365 and education management systems (CRM, LMS, SIS)
    • Positive, enthusiastic professional with consistent responsiveness across communication platforms.
