Job description

## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Produce Manager to oversee our produce department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the produce section, ensuring high-quality products, and providing excellent customer service.

## Duties
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking produce items
- Ensure proper pricing and attractive displays to drive sales
- Train and supervise staff on product knowledge, customer service, and safety procedures
- Monitor sales and set goals to increase department profitability
- Implement strategies to minimize waste and maximize freshness of products
- Collaborate with vendors to source high-quality produce at competitive prices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the produce department

## Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management within a retail environment
- Strong mathematical skills for inventory management and pricing strategies
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Knowledge of retail management practices including buying, marketing, and negotiation techniques
- Proficient in phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries and vendor communications
