What You Will Do:

  • The cybersecurity data visualization specialist is responsible for:

  • Utilize analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret cybersecurity data sets to build visualizations in various tools (e.g., PowerBI, Qualys, and Crowdstrike).

  • Utilize analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, and analyze, cybersecurity data sets to aid in risk rating/determination.

  • Analyze data sets found in the customer's vulnerability scanning, authorization, and configuration management tools to visually display cybersecurity hygiene and risk.

  • Import and transform data into usable sets for analysis tools used by the customer (e.g., PowerBI).

  • Provide analysis and graphical presentations of collected metrics for status reporting.

  • Support legacy visualization and situational awareness tools based on Microsoft Excel.

  • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Services Section to investigate options to simplify and automate the current security posture data reporting.

  • Aligns with NICE Work Role OM-DTA-002; Data Analyst


What You Will Need:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust
  • GED or High school diploma
  • FIVE (5) or more years of data visualization or data analytics experience


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • DOD 8570 Certification
