Responsibilities
The Senior Contract Coordinator, within the AIDS Institute's Office of Administration & Contract Management's (OACM) Contract Management Unit, will have responsibilities related to the administration and fiscal components of contracts and payments that support a wide range of HIV, Hep C, STD, LGBT, and Drug User Health services. Duties include coordinating the setup of all state contract transactions within the Statewide Financial System (SFS). This process involves a comprehensive review of updating contract dates, dollar amounts, and updating contract language, all of which requires significant attention to detail; performing a comprehensive review of contract budgets and corresponding payments; providing technical assistance to contractors and programmatic contract managers; tracking and developing reports on contract and payment status; contributing to performing fiscal monitorings; writing/keeping procedures up to date; contributing to the preparation of trainings on various topics; and other appropriate related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and two years of experience in contract coordination, contract administration or closely related experience; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
At least two years of experience working on contracts and/or payments in an administrative/fiscal capacity. Experience reviewing and processing contract budgets and reimbursement vouchers and including the review of supporting fiscal documentation to ensure contractor compliance of fiscal and administrative requirements. At least two years of experience using financial and grants management systems. At least two years of experience providing training and technical assistance.
Conditions of Employment
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Travel, up to 25% of the time, will be required.
This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.
