Job Description:
Manages a regional team or programs responsible for or related to physical security, life safety, threat management, technical security, or intelligence analysis. Ensures consistent application of professional best practices in administering these programs. Plans and organizes resources to achieve the group's goals and objectives. Coordinates the identification and reporting of significant issues and develops recommendations to senior management to protect the company's people, assets and brand. Maintains close business relationships with all lines of business in the region, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly understood and issues/concerns are escalated appropriately. May be an experienced Protective Services Manager that is responsible for overseeing large-scale programs or key business partner relationships on behalf of the Protective Services organization. May also directly support the SOACC Intelligence & Analysis Director and manage a team of analysts for a large geographical area. Provides solutions to highly complex security problems having long range impact. Manages major projects, or segments of complex functions. Administers the Intelligence & Analysis team, providing education, awareness, implementation, and incident response. Ensures compliance with the Federal Bank Protection Act and other applicable federal, state and local regulations, laws and ordinances. Develops and maintains effective, active working relationships with primary clients, strategic business partners and team members and actively fosters an environment of teamwork. Provides leadership, directly or through influence, to meet all objectives of the Intelligence & Analysis program and to address unplanned events. Works closely with law enforcement, and industry counterparts to proactively pool resources, and share intelligence. Has demonstrated experience in analytical thinking/problem solving and has superior writing and communication skills and strong time management, organization, and decision making ability. Works to formulate habitual and proactive reporting, briefings and assessments for management and/or internal customers, maintaining the focus of products on the realized or potential impact to BAC Associates, facilities, or operations. Skilled in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another varying in nature depending on workload. Is on-call 24/7 to support the team as needed during crisis/security related events.

Major Events Security creates a safe and secure business environment, that reflects Bank of America’s Values, through the professional delivery of effective, physical security and safety related services for senior management, employees, clients, guests and other stakeholders in support of bank or third party sponsored events and meetings around the world.
Manages the health, safety and physical security of all attendees at Bank of America sponsored or hosted events. Will be responsible for developing and implementing security plans and protocols for events, ensuring the safety of clients and associates. Ensures proper screening/vetting procedures are implemented for all event guests.
Will manage projects and assessments associated with the security of the event. Travels in advance of the event commencing and performs detailed security surveys for all identified locations, making the necessary contacts and arrangements to ensure guest safety. Will be responsible for analyzing and identifying potential threats through extensive monitoring and analysis of multiple platforms.
Maintains close working relationship with all lines of business supporting Major Events, working directly with Intelligence, Executive Protection and Protective Services. Must be able to identify and react to security situations 24/7 that may occur during events. Works closely with event planners, local law enforcement and venue partners.
Extensive hours on feet; Typical day for investor and internal management conferences is 14–15 hrs./day for consecutive days.
Able to respond to all medical situations. Major Events Security Manager could be first on scene and required to perform first responder duties. Must be able to manage ongoing incidents, medical conditions and / or event investigations during the event. This is in addition to event oversight responsibilities with planner, event staff, additional security and venue. Have to be able to recognize priorities and what may be handled when you return to your room at the conclusion of day.
Responsibilities:
Security Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive security plans for each event, including risk assessments, security staffing requirements, and emergency response strategies.
Team Management: Select, train, and supervise security personnel. Ensure all security professionals are fully briefed on their responsibilities and the specifics of each event.
Coordination with External Agencies: Work closely with local law enforcement, emergency services, and private security firms to ensure a coordinated approach to event security.
Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all security activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Stay updated with the latest in security technology and procedures to enhance safety measures.
Incident Management: Serve as the primary contact for all security-related incidents. Lead the resolution with minimal disruption to the event, and ensure Security Leadership maintains awareness.
