Wealth is one of the five key lines of business for Citi.  It is a single, integrated platform serving clients across the wealth continuum, from the affluent segment to ultra-high net worth clients.

Wealth is focused on delivering the full capabilities of Citi to clients across all the Citi Private Bank, Citi Wealth at Work (WaW), and Consumer Wealth businesses.

Wealth Risk Management is an independent global organization within the Citi Risk Management organization providing independent challenge and oversight to the credit portfolio and broad risk-taking practices within the Wealth business and ensures that such activities remain within the defined risk appetite and limits.

This position will be part of Wealth Risk Management, providing 2nd line of defense oversight with primary focus on the WaW business segment, which serves the needs of Law Firms headquartered across the US and UK and high earning professionals in Law practices, consulting/accounting partnerships and asset management entities.

Responsibilities:

Credit related work – client

  • As Credit Officer, review credit proposals and provide credit approvals.
  • Assist Risk SCOs on more complex credit proposals and those outside the Credit Officer’s assigned credit limit.

Credit related work - portfolio

  • Assist with Risk needs regarding portfolio data analysis/aggregation and in the creation of requisite presentations of findings to both the team and other stakeholders.
  • Provide support on the design and implementation of Risk monitoring tools, dashboards, portfolio reports and “ad hoc” requests for bespoke portfolio analytics including assistance with presentation decks to Senior Management / Regulators.
  • Assist Risk SCOs performing the review of the Risk monthly/quarterly reporting metrics to ensure data quality and completeness.

Governance / Regulatory related

  • Develop strong understanding and demonstrate ability to follow risk policies and procedures related to job function.
  • Assist in Credit Risk Remediation Initiatives.
  • Coordinate and assist in other ad-hoc projects which may arise from time to time.

Qualifications:

1-5 years of credit experience in one or more areas: consumer credit, business/commercial credit, professional services firm/law firm credit.

Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills and must be able to remediate and present data in an organized manner.

Able to work independently but is also a good team player.

Good communication skills (both written and verbal).

Proficient in MS Office applications (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint), Tableau experience a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Background in Accounting / Finance will be advantageous.

$96,400.00 - $144,600.00
