This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. He/She is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Emergency Department Super Flex RN’s support multiple care sites throughout OhioHealth, including Grant, Riverside, Doctors, Dublin, Berger, Pickerington, Grady, Marion, Mansfield, Shelby, and the Free-Standing ED Network. Each shift offers the unique opportunity to experience OhioHealth’s various Emergency Departments and potentially support a different care-site each scheduled day. Flex associates are assigned to a care site anywhere from two hours to weeks in advance. This position requires a strong clinical nurse who feels confident and comfortable in asking questions and seeking clarifications when necessary. Flex nurses must be independent but able to adapt to each department’s specific needs. Additional benefits include float pay and mileage reimbursement.
