In this role, the global Manufacturing Leader will :
• Set and execute the global manufacturing strategy aligned with business goals;
• Lead worldwide plant operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery excellence and cost (SQDC)
• Drive operational efficiency through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Oversee capacity planning, supply chain integration, and risk management
• Develop and lead high-performing global manufacturing teams and leaders
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, ESG, and sustainability standards across regions
Main Activities / Responsibilities
• Lead the transformation and improvement of productivity and capacity in order to support GSI business continuous growth – specifically with the expansion and start-up of new manufacturing capabilities in Vietnam, India, UK and Germany (from current 2 factories in UK of Valves and Transformers, to 4 in 2026 with the new factories ´creation in Vietnam and India, and an extra facility in Germany by 2027)
• Overall responsible for GSI Capex (> 400M$ in the next three years) including a full green field in Vietnam for more than $250M investment.
• Develop and implement the Global Manufacturing strategy to grow the business revenue to >$5.5B for GSI in 28
• Drive Safety and Quality first culture, while ensuring cost efficiency across all manufacturing sites. Key enabler of GSI Global S&OP process
• Develop and implement innovative standard operational methods aligned with strategic goals for effective and efficient manufacturing.
• Collaborates across regions, solutions lines and functions to optimize end-to-end manufacturing from ITO to OTR
• Lead the global manufacturing lean initiatives, and processes and planning standardization across all sites
• Leads strategic efforts to streamline Lead Time reduction and lower Variable Product Costs (VPC), increase speed and quality of delivered products.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics, such as inventory levels, cost, delivery times, and productivity, define tracking processes to continuously identify areas of improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in accordance with the GE Vernova guidelines and policies and state of the art practices in the supply chain.
• Collaborate with various internal stakeholders identifying business opportunities providing accurate business case studies for new and existing growth opportunities, ensure their execution.
YOUR PROFILE
Higher education degree in Business/Supply Chain/Engineering
Minimum 20 years of experience in Supply Chain / Manufacturing/ Engineering position preferably in the Energy sector
Knowledge of the GSI and Transmission product range: Valves, Transformers, and PT products (AIS, GIS, PQP, PTR)
Experience and ability to negotiate with customers/suppliers and influence internal stakeholders
Evidence of strong business ethic and strategic view
Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to effectively engage in multicultural environments

Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments
