Tongass Veterinary Services is actively looking for an experienced veterinary technician or assistant. The ideal candidate would be compassionate towards our patients, clients, and the team. We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience but are willing to train the right candidate. A positive and motivating attitude is a must. The ideal candidate would be confident in proper animal handling and restraint, rooming patients, assisting technicians and veterinarians, helping with surgical recovery, drawing blood, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and supportive team player.
