Create product drawings and support documentation by using 2D drafting software and geometric tolerance

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in basic failure analysis and problem solving tactics by performing functional and reliability bench testing
  • Assure product quality by completing tolerance analysis studies for parts and assemblies
  • Enter bill of materials into SAP by releasing Engineering Change Notices in Windchill
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering strongly preferred; or minimum of (4) years of job-related experience as defined above in the Essential Functions section.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 10% of time; international travel required.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Intern or co-op experience in mechanical engineering

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Analytical skills to support design creation of electro-mechanical systems by completing calculations involving strengths of materials, statics, stress-strain equations, and dynamics.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams to create electro-mechanical products
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
