The Lead, IT Business Performance/Process Improvement monitors and measures relevant performance metrics to assess the performance of IT resources and optimizes performance through process improvement activities. The Lead, IT Business Performance/Process Improvement works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Lead, IT Business Performance/Process Improvement devises measures and targets to assess and optimize the performance of IT functions, services, projects and any related improvement initiative. Identifies and analyzes performance measures and metrics, develops and maintains balanced scorecards and dashboards, and evaluates and monitors performance in IT-related areas. May include network performance management, application performance management (APM), (operating) system performance management (physical and virtual/cloud) and business transactions performance. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 or more years of technical experience
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Experience analyzing and presenting complex data
  • Experience with resource management and managing direct reports (matrixed or direct reports)
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Prior experience in the health solutions industry
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • PMP certification

Additional Information

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$106,900 - $147,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
