Het departement bestaat uit  3 afdelingen waaronder Ocean, Truck & Air, Customs & Freight met daarbij een teamlid die de eerste escalatie opvangt van onder andere klachten en andere problemen en zorg draagt voor de coördinatie van het hele gebeuren en indien nodig beslissingen neemt binnen de toegewezen bevoegdheid.

Regime: Voltijds - Dagshift 8u-16u.

Hoofdtaken

  • Eerste aanspreekpunt in afwezigheid van de supervisor;

  • Eerste escallatieniveau binnen het traffic department aangaande afhaal-en leveringsopdrachten ;

  • Eerste aanspreekpunt bij problemen met Peripass, dagelijkse flows kennen en beheersen ;

  • Dagelijks coördineren en efficiënt plannen van de operationale en administratieve samenwerking binnen traffic alsook het oplossen van problemen;

  • Kennis van alle dagdagelijkse flows binnen het traffic departement ;

  • Heeft beslissingsbevoegdheid binnen bepaalde normen waaronder het goedkeuren van vrachtfacturen tot een bepaald bedrag;

  • Opzoeken van alle documentatie, die met shipments worden meegegeven, in diverse systemen (EWM, CRM, GTS, Digichambers,…) ;

  • Goedkeuren en regelen van extra transporten (spot quotations) van lucht/zee/vrachtverpakking;

  • Controle van alle ingevulde documenten met betrekking tot douaneverrichtingen ;

  • EWM griefs opvolgen en incidenten ticketten (Lisa);

  • Optimalisaties bekijken en doorvoeren van de bestaande processen en dit bespreken met de supervisor.

Overige taken zoals de rest van het team wanneer noodzakelijk en als ondersteuning 

Vereisten

  • Goede kennis van nederlands en engels. Kennis van Frans is een pluspunt.

  • Goede interpersoonlijke vaardigheden. Nauwkeurigheid met oog voor detail.

  • Zowel volledig zelfstandig als in teamverband kunnen werken.

  • Er zijn contacten met douanediensten, laad-en losdiensten en supervisor voor het overleggen en oplossen van problemen alsook het doorvoeren van verbeteringen.

  • Kennis van IATA, Hazmat alsook goede inzichten in kostenstructuur en diverse tranportmodi.

  • Goede onderhandelingsvaardigheid.

  • Kennis van Peripass is een pluspunt.

  • PC vaardigheden: goede kennis van standaard PC software.

•    Explains commonly used import and export regulations of U.S. Customs.
•    Identifies basic documentation required for importing or exporting goods.
•    Describes typical letter of credit procedures and insurance requirements.
•    Displays an overall understanding of the import and export process.

Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
 Level Basic Understanding: 
•    Explains how improvements in logistics contribute to competitive advantage in the marketplace.
•    Identifies issues and considerations for inbound and outbound logistics.
•    Documents internal and external informative sources or proprietary materials about logistics management.
•    Describes basic logistical processes and sub-processes.

Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
 Level Basic Understanding: 
•    Describes the typical tasks associated with using and managing suppliers.
•    Defines common terms and conditions of agreements with suppliers.
•    Explains the organizational process for soliciting and selecting suppliers.
•    States the roles and responsibilities of one's own and suppliers' staff.

Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
 Level Basic Understanding: 
•    Locates and interprets walk-throughs of the consumption stream and associated provision stream.
•    Identifies goals and objectives of effective supply chain management.
•    Describes major areas associated with supply chain management.
•    Cites multiple examples of waste, high costs and inefficiencies associated with supply chains.

Transportation - MFG: Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers.
 Level Working Knowledge: 
•    Participates in arranging transportation of goods.
•    Ensures on time shipments; anticipates and resolves shipping problems.
•    Assists in calculating costs; uses associated billing and freight payment procedures.
•    Follows process for issuing bids and analyzing responses from carriers.
•    Works with at least one type of transportation mode and carrier.
