Works in partnership with the Director of Marketing and
Communications in the functional areas of social media planning and
strategy. This includes participation in social media, social
promotional posts, and events highlights across Facebook, Instagram,
Snapchat, & LinkedIN platforms.

  • Manages the College’s social media accounts
  • Assists with planning campaign ideas, actively creates and posts content  Fulfills social media requests from various campus teams
  • Develops and maintains social media campaign calendar including details pertaining to what is deployed, when, and to which platform
  • Organizes and disseminates social media analytics in an easy to-read and decipherable format
  • Comprehends the overall concept of Ivy Tech, including the brand, customer, product, and student experience goals

  • Must possess a BA/BS, AAS or equivalent training/certifications in marketing, communication, public relations, social media, digital communication, graphic design or related field.
  • Experience with creating content and maintaining major social media channels
  • Design experience with Canva and/or Adobe Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization and attention to quality and detail
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with frequent deadlines
  • Ability to follow directions, work independently, and in a team environment
  • Self-motivated, positive personality with excellent interpersonal skills
