Loan and Lease Accountant

The Loan and Lease Accountant is responsible for the process administration, accounting entries, reconciliations, reporting, analysis, and documentation of assigned job areas within the loan and lease accounting Controllership team.  S/he improves the effectiveness of the accounting reporting team by making enhancements to current accounting and reporting processes.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Administers the processing, accounting entries, reconciliations, reporting, analysis, and documentation of assigned products within the loan and lease accounting Controllership team.

  • Improves the effectiveness of the Controllership team by making adjustments and/or enhancements to current accounting and reporting processes.

  • Creates and/or improves the accounting and reporting processes; recommends enhancements or improvements to the effectiveness of the overall Controllership team.

  • Prepares or reviews regulatory report deliverables and researches to resolve discrepancies or significant variances.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years ; Accounting, Financial reporting


Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated competence of accounting practices and procedures, including US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting standards

  • Practical analytical and accounting skills.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to focus on details to ensure and maintain data accuracy, and demonstrate holistic understanding of accounting and financial report.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.

  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
