PRIMARY PURPOSE:

 The Systems Analyst role requires experience in solution design and implementation. The role is responsible for the evaluation of solutions to support both new business initiatives and improvement to existing solutions. The role also contributes to the design of deployment architectures including on-premise, private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid. This role must work cohesively with business application leads as well as IS teams.

 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Participate in design and development innovative solutions to business requirements
  • Provide strategy and design for integrating disparate business systems
  • Assist in the evaluation of application software packages and frameworks, perform feasibility studies, and buy vs. build analysis
  • Contribute to and document technical designs
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with business users and teams through all phases of the project management lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 6 years IT experience with a background in software development
  • Experience with integrating data between applications
  • Experience with an integration/ETL tool suites, Talend preferred
  • Experience with multiple approaches to integrations, including API’s, file transfers, etc.
  • Experience with evaluation and analysis of cloud-based applications and architectures
  • Experience with SQL Server, especially with query development and optimization
  • Experience with production support management and troubleshooting
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Critical thinking ability
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work on cross functional teams, multitasking and managing time independently with little direction
  • Experience working directly with business users and other non-technical groups
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written with various levels of management
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and set appropriate priorities
  • AS400 experience is a plus
  • Understanding of Change Management process and procedures as it relates to Audit and SOX compliance
  • REIT industry knowledge is a plus
  • ERP solutions a plus (JDE, EnterpriseOne, Yardi, Coupa, etc..)
