The Technology Support II – Audio Visual (AV) Systems Administrator will provide technical assistance and support to resolve systems issues, perform maintenance and upgrades, and troubleshoot technical problems related to hardware, software, and web-based applications. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Walmart’s code of conduct and providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders.

As part of the Technology Support team, we connect everyone from every business sector internally and externally. Conference room communication technology plays a vital role in Walmart’s business and our team manages the daily operations for all Walmart Inc. conference room technology.  

What You'll Do:

  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Resolve systems issues by identifying root causes, recommending solutions, and communicating resolutions to management
  • Maintenance and Installation: Plan and execute maintenance upgrades, install and configure hardware/software, and respond to breakdowns
  • Client and User Interaction: Address client issues, determine problem nature, and maintain records of software licenses and hardware needs
  • Application Support: Research and troubleshoot issues with web-based applications and the intranet, coordinating with relevant divisions as needed
  • Compliance and Customer Service: Adhere to company policies, maintain confidentiality, and provide excellent service to stakeholders

What You'll Bring: 

  • Experience with conference room technologies 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root-cause, and offer solutions 
  • An understanding of IP networks 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: 

  • AVIXA CTS certification 
  • Experience with Python 
  • Experience with AV conference room installation and management
  • Experience providing high-level executive support

The annual salary range for this position is $72,000.00-$132,000.00
