Conagra Brands is looking to add a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to our team. You will work onsite at the Hagerstown, MD manufacturing plant and report to the Operations Manager. You will lead team members through process improvement opportunities to attain production and quality goals. You identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. You ensure production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available to maintain production schedules. You support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. You manage several functions of the business and creating an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve our results.

Position Responsibilities

  • You monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.
  • You lead team in tracking and understanding goals, Gap Analysis, and creating action plans to address performance gaps.
  • You provide resources and training to employees to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities.
  • You troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.
  • You enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures.
  • You support plant and company safety programs, promoting a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment and confined space entry.
  • You must have the ability to work weekends

Position Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ supervisory experience required.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
